Open Positions: Secretary and Mentoring Coordinator
The AWAWS Committee calls for nominations for two open positions: the Secretary, and the Mentoring Coordinator. Please see the role descriptions attached. These are both vital roles for AWAWS, so please do consider nominating for them. The mentoring coordinator role could be shared between two people. If you would like to nominate for one of these positions, please fill in this form or get in touch with me, Estelle, or Anastasia. If you would like more information about either position, please let me know.
Virtual Bouquets
If you would like to send anyone a virtual bouquet at this year’s AGM, please send through the details to socawaws@gmail.com
(If you are new to AWAWS, a virtual bouquet is a way of thanking someone or saying how much you appreciate their work, etc. You might want to acknowledge the hard work of a student, or the support of a colleague or lecturer, or tell someone how much you appreciate their collegiality or the amount of volunteer work they have done to support the discipline, etc). You should send that person’s name and a brief message, and we will read out all recipients at the AGM).
